WPA Cemetery Locator Project
One of the Depression era projects in Hampshire County done by the W.P.A. was a list of the graves of all veterans before WWII. This list gives us detailed locations of all the 120 cemeteries the WPA visited. However, the route numbers and names are based on the 1933 version of our county highway map - not on our current map! See below. As part of its "Military Marker Project" we are making the entire survey project available on our web site.
