Posters of Hampshire County

The images shown below were, for the most part, made as poster size prints, 24x36 inches, either verticle or horizontal. The Romney history image is a letter size flyer. Most were designed to be able to be utilized as interpretative signs placed where the site was located. However, they are adaptable for other uses. All images are copyrighted, but are available for use within Hampshire County to promote tourism and history education. Please contact us for information. • WVSDB Administration Building plan. Since the State was not interested in allowing investigation of the ruins of the building when it burned nor in memorializing the original Classical Institute build in 1847, this drawing is our best interpretation of the stages of construction of the building. We believe it is important to remember that its history goes back before the Schools for the Deaf and Blind to earlier history of education in (West) Virginia.
