Sarah Moreland Grave

Off the west side of this lonely path in a pine thicket between Spring Gap Mountain
and Little Cacapon River north of Dave Moreland Road lies the lonely grave of Sarah Moreland.

The headstone and footstone stick up from the forest floor.

Born July 18, 1860
Died Feb. 27, 1883
 
She come to raise
