These pages contain photographs of Hampshire County taken in 1991 and 1992.  The project was envisioned to contain a picture of every major intersection and every important public place in the county.  Unfortunately, it falls short of that, but still is important as a collection of images of the county in one short period of time.  We often seek old photographs of our county and never think that someday, the twentieth century will be "the old days."  At the present time the pictures are presented without identification or comment simply because to annotate them is a task too great for the innovative, industrious and committed, but terribly overworked staff of this web site.  We invite our viewers to send comments about the photos; the coments may or may not be listed.  We also invite someone to consider undertaking the task of annotating the entire project.
