Thirteenth Virginia Volunteer Infantry's Schedule
8:30 p.m. Mountaineer Partisan
Rangers, Camp 2249, assisted by Hampshire Camp 284, and Hampshire
County Historical Society gather at Indian Mound Cemetery, located on
Rt. 50, west end of Romney, WV, to conduct a luminary service
commemorating Hampshire County's Confederate Soldiers.
Opening Invocation: Pastor Gary Smith
Reading of the Honor Roll of Soldiers
named on the Monument
9:00 p.m. Lighting of the Luminaries
by Camp 284.

9 a.m. Malick Community Cemetery located on Route 29, near Slanesville, WV.
Installation of Iron Cross on the graves of Isaac C. Haines, 18th
Va. Cav. Co. C and William A. Haines, Sgt. 118th Va., 1st
Militia. Flags and decoration of graves with memorial services.
9:35 a.m. Salem Methodist Church and Cemetery, located on Spring Gap Road, near Slanesville, WV.
Installation of Iron Cross on the grave of Perry Saville, 13th
Va, Inf. Co I.
10:15 a.m. Levels located at the end
of Jersey Mountain Road. Flags and decoration of graves with memorial
services.
10:35 a.m. Wesley Chapel located on
Jersey Mountain Road. Flags and decoration of graves with memorial
services for Pvt. John Whitacre, 31st Va. Militia, CO. H
11:00 a.m. Three Churches where Lunch
for the Thirteenth Virginia Volunteer Infantry, and Mountaineer
Partisan Rangers, Camp 2249 will be served at the Ruritan building.
12:00 noon Branch Mountain Cemetery
located beside Three Churches. Installation of Iron Cross on the
graves of John Sneathen, 114th and 18th Va.
Cav. Co H, and John H. Thompson, 18th Va. Cav. Co. C.
Flags and decoration of graves with
memorial services.
12:30 p.m. Methodist Primitive Church
located in the same area. Iron Cross Installation on the graves of
Captain Josiah Hardy, 114th Militia and 33rd
Va. Infantry Co. H, Captain Luther Ginevan, 18th Va. Cav.
Co. C, and Lorenzo Shanholtzer, 2nd Corporal, 114th
Va. Militia, Co. A. Flags and decoration of graves with memorial
services.
2 p.m. Re-enactor- Color Guard March down Main Street, Romney, from the Old Courthouse to the Confederate Monument in Indian Mound Cemetery, located on the west end of Romney. The Thirteenth Virginia Volunteer Infantry accompanied by Sons of Confederate Veterans, Mountaineer Partisan Rangers, Camp 2249.

Monument with decoration of graves, the placing of flags and memorial services by the
Thirteenth Virginia Volunteer Infantry, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Camps 284 and
2249.
