Located South of Springfield about 1 mile West of Rt.28 on Rt.28/5. Make the first sharp left that you can, and right before you get to the right turn in the road, this cemetery is on your left behind a small white cottage.

  • Jacob Arlington: died Sep 2, 1849; "Aged 54 yrs 11 mos".
  • John J.J. Curlett: died Jul 14, 1846; "in the 39th year of his age".
  • Mary Curlett: died Feb 1, 1850; "in the 74th year of his age".
  • William Curlett: died Oct 4, 1832; "in the 64th year of his age".
  • J. E.: 1818.
  • Jacob Earsome: died May 11, 1847; "Aged 9 yrs 6 mos" "Son of J.B. & M. Earsome.
  • Margaret Earsome: died May 16, 1847; "Aged 7 yrs" Daughter of J.B. Earsome.
  • Peter Murray: died Oct 10, 1848.
  • John C. Newman: born Nov 14, 1829; died Nov 26, 1883; "Aged 54 yrs 12 das".
  • Margaret Newman: died Jul 31, 1830 "in her 34th year" "Daughter of Wm. & M. Curlett".
  • James G. Parsons: died Aug 22, 1871; "Aged 37 yrs 2 mos 11 dys" "Son of James & M. Parsons".
  • Margaret Parson: died Mar 29, 1860; "Aged 28 yrs 1 mo 1 dy".
  • Mary E. Parson: died Sep 24, 1854; "Aged 27 yrs 9 mos 5 days".
  • Mary Ida Parsons: died Aug 28, 1872; "Aged 14 yrs 11 mos 22 das".

    In 2002, when this photo was taken, you can see it is being used as a playgound for some of the local kids. Notice how close the white cottage is from the markers. The road and the neighbors yard are just as close. Anymore erosion and this cemetery will start showing the graves.
